Political Debate

The political world is very rough. When I ask someone if they follow politics or are interested in politics, they all just shake their heads or give a quiet, subtle smile. I think when someone smiles they are saying they are interested in politics but don\’t want to talk about it. And it also means that they have a great interest in politics. I understand that some people live politics and some people don\’t like politics and don\’t want to talk about it. To be honest, I enjoy politics quite a bit. I just can\’t imagine what I would do or how I would behave if I had to argue with someone because they like a different political party than I do.

I am quite sensitive to this and unfortunately very concerned. But when people bash my favorite party, my favorite politician or politicians, it kind of bothers me and makes me angry. But what can I do about it? I know that this can\’t happen, that there are actually different people. Just like there are people who believe in God and there are people who don\’t believe at all. I have to respect that

Everyone should really respect that. But unfortunately, I can\’t respect it. And what bothers me the most is when someone starts talking about the demerits and all kinds of nastiness about the party I like. So these days I like to pretend that I am not interested in politics, or that I am not at all familiar with it, even though people talk about it. I\’m a pretty passionate Aries and I don\’t want to argue with anyone, I want to shut up and say my own thing in my head. And I will have my own ideas and maybe secretly speak ill of someone else. But that\’s up to me, and as long as no one hears me, that\’s fine. I don\’t like politics that much.
